Project: Envisioning a Green Future - New Town Kolkata's Public Spaces Showcase

The Qafila team embarked on an ambitious project to capture the essence of New Town Kolkata's remarkable transformation into a vibrant "City of Greens." Our mission was to produce a series of compelling films that highlight the diverse array of public open spaces, green initiatives, and innovative recreational areas developed by NKGSCCL and NKDA.

Across multiple video assets, we meticulously showcased how New Town Kolkata is setting new benchmarks in urban planning and sustainable living. Our filmmaking captured:

• Lush Green Spaces: From sprawling parks like Neem Banani with its reflexology pathways, to the iconic Eco Park (including its Eiffel Tower replica and Wax Museum), we demonstrated the city's commitment to nature and relaxation.

• Themed and Recreational Hubs: We brought to life the imaginative Shanku Park and Apur Sansar Park, celebrating the 100th birth centenary of Maestro Satyajit Ray, alongside the inclusive and engaging Sensory Park designed for all five senses.

• Modern Urban Amenities: Our visuals highlighted the functionality and beauty of spaces like Activity Park with outdoor gyms and jogging tracks, and the innovative Smart Plaza utilizing space under flyovers with workstations and free Wi-Fi, fostering community and productivity.

Through a blend of sweeping aerial shots and intimate ground-level perspectives, the Qafila team created a comprehensive visual narrative that underscores New Town Kolkata's journey towards a greener, more sustainable future, offering a multitude of "lung spaces" and enriching experiences for its residents and visitors.
